Hiring Process

  1. Seafarer application process
    • Candidates apply through the website
  2. Resume Review
    • Each resume goes through a preliminary screening to ensure accuracy and completeness
  3. Assessment of Knowledge, Skills and Attitude
    • Knowledge refers to the “domain knowledge” required by a particular rank to function effectively.
    • Skills are the learned capacities to perform pre-determined results. These include Managerial skills and Technical skills. Technical skills maybe assessed using Trade tests for certain positions like Electrical Officer.
  4. Initial Interview
    • Candidates who pass the preliminary screening are called in for a first interview by the managers at the appointed manning office.
  5. Final interview
    • Applicants for the positions of senior officer and engineers undergo a second interview at the Company Head Office.
  6. Pre-contract/Interim agreement
    • Applicants that successfully complete the above stages are offered a letter of intent. After this stage, applicants are one step closer to joining the vessel.
